Flanges shall have a standard taper pipe thread in accordance with the dimensions shown in Tables of Flange Details.
Gages shall be produced in accordance with ANSI B2.1 except for
tread dimensions which shall be in accordance with Table of Thread
Dimensions for Ductile Iron Pipe.
The gaging notch of working gage should come flush with the bottom
of the chamfer, and the maximum permissible variation is plus or minus
one revolution of the gage.
Threads shall be countersunk a distance not less than one-half of
the pitch of the thread at an angle approximately 45 degree with the
axis of the thread.
